Time sure flies! As usual, I’m late with this update. But that doesn’t change that you were 10 MONTHS OLD on November 2nd my sweet little boy!
It seems like as the year goes on we just keep getting busier and busier!
This past month you had your 9 month checkup and got your first flu shot.
We had our annual Family Fall Fiesta dinner at Aunt S’s house.
You celebrated your first Halloween dressed as Charlie Brown, and we rolled right into November where it seems like we have an endless amount of things happening!
You finally mastered crawling up off your belly and boy do you fly! You’re also pulling up and cruising on EVERYTHING and would much rather walk (assisted) than do anything else. And you got FOUR new teeth in this month! That makes six total, four on top and two on bottom! Mommy is so proud of you and is amazed everyday by how much you grow and learn!
What are your stats and what does the doctor say?
Healthy healthy boy! At your 9 month well visit you weighed 21lbs 8oz and were 28.75in tall. 70th percentile for weight and 50th for height. Dr. Chris was impressed with how strong you are and said your right on track with your milestones, and were even hitting 10 month milestones early!
What are you eating?
Anything we put in front of you! Your favorite baby food is the Stage 3 Chicken Noodle though, you love that stuff! You love to eat off momma’s plate and are more interested in table food than baby food now. You really love to feed yourself, which is quite messy but adorable! You love to snack on Puffs and arrow root cookies. You’re still eating Enfamil Infant throughout the day, and you would rather drink water than juice anytime from your sippy.
When do you eat and sleep?
You get a bottle every 4 hours throughout the day. You get oatmeal for breakfast at around 7:30. Baby food for lunch and baby food and table food for dinner. You get two naps during the day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Bedtime is around 8pm. You sleep until about midnight, then you wake up and here lately have been having a lot of separation anxiety going on. You clench onto mommy and won’t let go, so for now you’re back to sleeping with mommy for the 2nd half of the night.
What do your routines look like?
Eat, Play, Sleep! No change here! After breakfast we play until naptime, then you’re up for lunch and a bottle, then its playtime until naptime, then another bottle, play, dinner, then its bath time, story time, and bedtime!
What size clothes and diapers are you wearing?
Size 3 diapers still and size 9 month to 12 month clothes.
What are some things you love?
You love to GO GO GO! Always exploring and getting into things! You love books and story time with daddy before bed. You absolutely LOVE Sesame Street! It is your favorite thing on the TV and always grabs your attention!
What are some things you don’t love?
You don’t like for mommy to be out of your sight, and you don’t like waking in the middle of the night and not being able to find her. Separation Anxiety has hit hard! You don’t like to be told no at all!
What are some things you can do?
What can’t you do?! You can crawl, you can play chase with daddy, you can crawl up and down stairs, you light up and dance anytime you hear music, you can CLIMB on things you have no business climbing on! LOL
What are we looking forward to in the next month?
Your first Thanksgiving! And decorating for Christmas! Mommy and Daddy are excited to go shopping for you! And of course planning your 1st birthday party, which is coming up VERY soon!
