It is SO crazy that you are already 11 MONTHS OLD! Time needs to slow down!
Its been a busy month! You’ve learned all sorts of new things! You can wave Bye-Bye, point to something if we ask you to, and clap your hands!
This month you celebrated your first Thanksgiving! You loved all the food you got to eat, especially munching off of mommy’s dessert on her plate! We had a wonderful with family, you got to play with your cousin (who is 18 months old) and I’m pretty sure she taught you how to throw a fit because you’ve been doing that lately lol!
We made salt dough turkey hands with Baby B this month:
And the only downfall to Thanksgiving was you busted your chin on Aunt S’s coffee table that evening before we went home. You are a tough boy though, and it didn’t slow you down for long.
We went over to mommy’s friend’s house last week and she snapped a few photos of you for our Christmas card. They turned out GREAT! You’re such a photogenic little guy!
What are your stats and what does the doctor say?
We went back to the doctor the week of Thanksgiving for your Flu Shot booster, but you didn’t see Dr. Chris. You were such a big boy for your shot though, you only cried for a second, and I think it was just because you were mad lol. I’m guessing you are between 22-23lbs.
What are you eating?
EVERYTHING! Seriously, anything I put in front of you. You would much rather feed yourself these days, so its getting harder to feed you baby food. You’re still drinking Enfamil Infant, you get 4 bottles a day.
When do you eat and sleep?
You get a bottle every 4 hours throughout the day. You get oatmeal and toast for breakfast at around 7:30. Baby food for lunch and baby food and table food for dinner. You get two naps during the day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Bedtime is around 8pm. You’re getting better at sleeping in your crib all night again, although it is a work in progress.
What do your routines look like?
Eat, play, sleep! No change here, you’re on a pretty good schedule these days.
What size clothes and diapers are you wearing?
Size 3 diapers and size 12 months in most clothing.
What are some things you love?
You love to GO! You don’t stay still for long these days! You love CLIMBING on everything, you are a little monkey! You love walking behind your push walker that you got from the baby G girls. You have a new bedtime Monkey who’s belly glows and plays lullabies, and you love to snuggle him at nighttime (he is helping you get used to sleeping in your crib!). We have a big cardboard box that your Christmas present was shipped in and daddy cut some holes in it for you to crawl through and you absolutely love it!
What are some things you don’t love?
You still don’t like waiting for food. You don’t like being told No. You don’t like being left alone in a room, even for a second. And you don’t like waking up in the middle of the night and not be able to find mommy.
What are some things you can do?
Oh my gosh, you crawl, you climb, you clap, you wave bye bye, you point, you give kisses, you dance! Still waiting for you to walk unassisted, but I don’t think it will be long!
What are we looking forward to in the next month?
Your first Christmas! Going to see Santa and looking a Christmas lights. And of course, your first birthday party! I can’t believe you will be ONE the next time I update!
